APPLE CRUMBLE

Ingredients :
Cooking apples - 3 medium
Granulated sugar -3/4 cup (can reduce to half if dont want soooo sweet)
Butter - 1/2 cup
Self- raising flour - 1 cup

Preparation:

1.Preheat oven to 180 degree C / 350 degree F .
2.In a dry bowl ,mix butter with self-raising flour for 3 min to get a texture of breadcrumbs.


3.To this mixture add sugar and mix well (keep 1/4 cup sugar to sprinkle over apples) and crumble is ready.

4.Peel the apples and slice into small chunks.
5.Grease a medium casserole dish with butter and add the apple slices and sprinkle the remaining 1/4 cup sugar evenly over the apples.Now,evenly spread the crumble mixture over the sugared apples.
6.Put this into the middle rack of preheated oven and bake for 40 min.
7.To brown the crumble topping,can use grill mode for 30 seconds.(keep an eye during this or else it may turn black)

Serve hot or cold with ice cream or as it is !
