EASY VANILLA POUND CAKE


Ingredients:
All purpose flour/ maida - 1/2 cup
Eggs - 2
Butter - 1/2 cup or 100 g
Granulated sugar - 1/2 cup
Vanilla essence - 1 tsp
Baking powder - 1 tsp
Milk - 2 tbsp
Salt - a pinch

Preparation:
1.Sieve maida and baking powder to a bowl and set aside.


2.In another deep bottomed  bowl, add butter and sugar and beat well until creamy.
3.Add eggs to this and beat well for upto 8 to 9 minutes until fluffy.
4.Add 2 tbsp milk and 1 tsp vanilla essence,salt  and mix well.
5.Add the allpurpose baking powder mix slowly in two portions and mix well in a hand beater or spatula.
6.In between pre heat the oven for 10 minutes at 175 degree c and grease  the pan using to bake with oil  or   with butter and sprinkle little maida over it and tap back to remove excess.
7.Pour the batter into the pan and bake in preheated oven  at 175 degree c for upto 30 to 35 minutes or until top turns brown.(insert a tooth pic  and check ,if it comes out clean,cake is ready)
