Chicken - 1  cut into 4 parts(2 thighs and 2 breast pieces)
Oil - 3 to 4 tbsp

Chilly powder - 2 tsp
Turmeric powder - 1/2 tsp
Cumin seed / powder - 1/2 tsp
Ginger - 1 small piece
Garlic - 3 cloves
Garam masala powder - 1/2 tsp
Curd - 4 tbsp
Lemon - 1
Salt - as needed
Red colour - sprinkle(optional)

1.Cut and clean the chicken well and drain.Make deep 3-4 gashes inflesh parts of each pieces and keep aside.

2.In a grinder , add the marination ingredients and grind to a fine smooth paste.

3.Remove to a bowl and add the chicken pieces in it and mix well until coated completely.
4.Cover with a cling film and chill for atleast2 hours or overnight in refrigerator.
5.Remove 1 hour prior to cooking and bring to room temperature.
6.Pre heat the oven 10 minutes before grilling.Place the chicken on foiled tray and apply oil over it and grill
on medium heat for around 35 to 40 minutes turning once or twice in between( i grilled at medium for 15 minutes on one side and den the other side,also we will b restless dat we flip it once again to cook some more time.)Poke the chicken and see if its cooked. Make sure not to over cook and make it dry,dis 40 minutes will be enough to cook inside too.

Can cook in fry pan too by adding little oil and fry both side till done or bake in oven.
