ERACHI PETTI / MEAT BOX (crepes filled with chicken stuffing)
I dont know the actual name of this snack....I have seen it in a tv show years back and I prepare this often...easy and yummy snack.......so thought i will share it here...
Ingredients:
For the pancake:
All purpose flour / maida - 1 cup
Egg - 1
Salt - to taste
Water - as needed to make a batter as for dosa
For Chicken filling :
chicken masala
For dipping:
Egg - 1
Salt - a pinch
Garam masala powder - sprinkle
Preparation:
1. In a mixing bowl,add maida,egg,salt and water little by little and mix without forming lump to a pouring consistency batter(not too thick or too thin).
2.Heat a non stick pan on medium flame and pour a little batter using a ladle to form a small dosa.
4.Fill with 1 tbsp of the prepared chicken stuffing and fold on all sides like a box.
5.Take the second pancake to a plate and keep the first fillled meat box over it and cover once again as a box.
6.Keep aside and repeat the same with the rest.
7.In a bowl,beat 1 egg along with a pinch of salt and garam masala powder.
8.Heat 2 tbsp ghee in a fry pan.
9.Dip the meat box in the prepared egg batter and coat on both sides and shallow fry turning over both the sides.
